The InterContinental  Hotel is a 5 star hotel comprising 3 basement levels, a ground floor and 22 additional floors offering 240 rooms. The Hotel will include Commercial areas and Cinemas at the first basement level and Ground Floor, parking facilities and technical rooms' services for electrical power station transformers, medium and low voltage, stand by generators at the 2nd basement level, laundry, loading and uploading bay, technical rooms, main kitchen, engineering workshop, store, and staff facilities at the 3rd basement level. The first 5 floors above ground level will contain hotel and guest facilities, lobby entrance, restaurants, coffee lounge, retail area, reception, meeting rooms, specialty restaurant, health club facilities, out door terrace, typical guest bed rooms, executive rooms and suites. The remaining floors will include the main guest rooms and diplomatic suites. The Hotel is in Salmiya on the Gulf Road. ( The White Tower )
